The signing process slows down when the person and the token are not at the same machine, or when signing has to happen inside a Remote Desktop session or a virtual machine. These are the cases finance teams run into.
The director holds the token
The signing token stays with the director or firm owner. When a report is due and they are away, no one else can sign.
Signing over Remote Desktop
You sign from a Remote Desktop session, but the token does not pass into it. Remote Desktop does not forward USB tokens on its own.

Donglify works with e-signature and crypto-token USB devices, including the small keys used for digital signatures, tax reporting, banking, and tenders. It forwards them over the Internet, including into Remote Desktop sessions and virtual machines, where USB tokens can be hard to access.
